NEASC Standards

New England Association of Schools and Colleges' Revised 2011 Standards

In 2011, The New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC) revised its Teaching and Learning Standards. Any Connecticut high school due for a review of its NEASC accreditation will need to show compliance with the new Standards. You can find the full text of the 2011 Standards in the pdf attachment, below.

All recent NEASC accreditation reviews should be available to the public and usually can be found on the high-school's website. You can check the status of your local high school's NEASC accreditation at:   https://www.neasc.org/portal.

CAG has asked the NEASC how these standards will impact gifted and talented education.  We will advise our members as we learn more.
