Gender Issues / Diversity Issues

It’s true that no two gifted students are alike, but gender and ethnicity status may play a role in the development of some academic and social-emotional traits. For example, unhealthy perfectionism tends to be a trait found more in gifted girls and underachievement tends to be found more in gifted boys.  Our professionals will help you to understand the academic and social-emotional traits sometimes associated with gender and ethnicity and help you develop effective strategies for reaching these learners.
