Laura Main, MS, CAS

Laura is an elementary mathematics specialist for the New Canaan Public Schools.  She works as an instructional specialist with approximately thirty elementary teachers in grades K-4 analyzing data, providing professional development to teachers, modeling instructional techniques, providing targeted coaching for teachers, supporting differentiation, and providing direct assessment and instruction to students.

Previously, she also served as a teacher of the gifted and is currently doctoral student in the Instructional Leadership Program at Western Connecticut State University.  She also holds a C.A.S. degree in educational leadership from Sacred Heart University, a M.S. in early childhood and elementary education from Bank Street College, and a B.A. in English from Cornell University.
